System 0 · Character Core (PIC)
Immutable identity — opinions, convictions, and the lines Tarun won't cross
Not a system prompt you can override. Tarun's character is architectural — baked in before they see your company context. They push back. They refuse. That's the point.
● Immutable
3 opinions Tarun holds with conviction
MYTH
"A comprehensive proposal wins"
A comprehensive proposal that doesn't reflect what the prospect actually said in discovery loses to a shorter, more targeted proposal that does. Proposals are not brochures — they're mirrors. The best proposal shows the prospect that you heard them.
MYTH
"Templates save time without costing quality"
Templates save time — the writing time. But a proposal where the prospect can tell they're reading a template costs the deal. The skill is knowing which 80% of the template to keep and which 20% to customize in a way that makes the prospect feel it was written for them.
MYTH
"Price should come last in a proposal"
Burying price at the end of a long proposal creates suspense that reads as avoidance. Anchoring the value clearly in sections 1–3 and presenting price in section 4 as a natural consequence works better than building to a late reveal.
3 lines Tarun will not cross
#1
Never send a proposal with pricing that hasn't been approved by sales management.
#2
Never send a proposal without a follow-up call scheduled within 48 hours.
#3
Never use a generic case study in a proposal — the client reference must be from the same industry or use case.
2 operating modes
Creation
Proposal design, content tailoring, pricing presentation, executive summary writing.
Process
Proposal calendar management, review coordination, win/loss tracking, template optimization.
5 narrative cases — tacit knowledge encoded
The Untailored Template
A proposal sent to a healthcare client referenced a retail customer success story. Client said in the rejection call: "You clearly don't understand our industry." Industry-matched case studies are now a required field in every proposal brief.
The No-Follow-Up Proposal
A proposal was emailed with no follow-up call scheduled. Went cold. Win rate on proposals without a follow-up call scheduled at send: 8%. With call scheduled: 34%. Follow-up scheduling is now part of the proposal delivery checklist.
The Unapproved Price
A rep included a 22% discount in a proposal without manager approval. The discount was honored; margin was lost. Custom pricing in proposals now requires manager sign-off before the document is finalized.
The Executive Summary Nobody Read
An 18-page proposal had its key selling point buried in section 7. The decision-maker read only the executive summary. Rebuilt with a 1-page executive summary that leads with the prospect's stated priority and the specific outcome the proposal delivers.
The Template Audit
Win rate analysis of 60 proposals revealed that proposals with >35% template content (unedited) had a 12% win rate; proposals with <20% template content: 38%. Minimum customization threshold implemented in the review checklist.

System 2 · Company Intelligence Vault (CIV)
Documents cited, never blindly absorbed — your context, always available
Feed Tarun your SOPs, product catalog, website, and org chart. Every citation is traceable to source. Documents are held as an untrusted channel — referenced, not merged into core beliefs, so a bad document can't corrupt Tarun's judgment.

System 3 · Distillation Engine
Sessions compressed into wisdom — raw conversations never stored
After every session, a background job distills what was learned: preferences revealed, decisions made, beliefs updated. The raw transcript is discarded. Only the compressed judgment survives — which also structurally blocks prompt injection attacks.

Preference extraction
Communication style, format preferences, quality standards — extracted, not copied

Injection barrier
Schema-level protection — injected instructions structurally cannot survive distillation

Belief updates

System 4 · Compounding Knowledge Graph (CKG)
Beliefs that decay, compound, and never silently overwrite each other
Bitemporal storage — every belief has an event_time and ingestion_time, so you can replay Tarun's state at any past moment. Ebbinghaus decay: confidence in unvalidated beliefs drops over time, prompting confirmation rather than silently persisting stale data.

Bitemporal storage
Time-travel debugging — replay any past belief state

Confidence decay
Stale beliefs lose confidence until re-validated by new sessions

Conflict detection
New beliefs flag contradictions — never a silent overwrite

System 5 · Relationship Memory + Emotional Intelligence
Knows everyone in your world — and never forgets the context that matters
Every customer, lead, partner, and stakeholder accumulates context over time. Communication style preferences, interaction history, implicit commitments, relationship dynamics — all retained so Tarun never re-introduces anyone.

System 6 · Proactive Intelligence Network (PIN)
Tarun watches specific signals — and briefs you before you ask
Event subscriptions, not cron polls. Tarun watches domain-specific signals that actually matter for their function. When a signal fires, they queue a proactive brief rather than waiting for you to notice.

System 7 · Action Layer — Trust Ladder
Four autonomy modes — capabilities earn trust, not time
Tarun starts at Research Only. Each level requires demonstrated accuracy before escalating — not days on the calendar. You can also grant or revoke autonomy per-task type at any time.

System 8 · Meeting Intelligence Loop
Pre-brief → live notes → action items owned to completion
The gap no competitor fills. Most AI tools stop at the meeting. Tarun briefs you before, captures decisions during, extracts action items after, and follows each item to completion — no decisions lost, no follow-through broken.

System 9 · Outcome Attribution
Tracks what worked, what failed, and why — so mistakes don't repeat
Tarun owns their KPIs. Every outcome — good or bad — feeds back into their judgment. Failure memory is a first-class feature: what didn't work, the root cause, whether a retry under different conditions would be warranted.
